A Positive Look into Nigerian Culture
After watching some random news reports on Youtube from Nigeria I got really inspired to know more about Nigerian culture. I started searching for some videos of popular Nigerian TV advertisements. What I figured out was that most of the ads have significant amount of cultural insight. Even the ad about Guinness beer includes meaningful local story, which we would hardly find in Western ads. Here is a list of the most interesting and amusing commercials that I found. Some of the videos might be funny, other hilarious and some of them a little bit mean, but I am pretty sure, that there is something that would make you smile and become more familiar with Nigerian culture…at least a bit.

Auto-tuned voice with a good beat…but it’s all about a soy drink.
1 MORE BEER = STRONGER MAN. The only sad part of this ad is that Guiness is making people drunk even in Nigeria.
